(nee Thompson) Kathy passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Age 72. Beloved wife of Richard Seelig for over 50 years. Loving mother of Jeffrey Seelig, James (Jennifer M.) Seelig, Jerome (Kelly) Seelig and Judy (Kevin) Scharfenberger. Proud “Nana/Mama” of Tracy, Joseph, Justin, Jack, Juliana, Josh, Jessica, Joselyn, Jonah, Olivia, and Alex. Also loved by many other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Richard Thompson and “adopted” son William Koepke.
She was a member of multiple Toastmaster clubs and earned many awards, including the Distinguished Toastmasters award and the Dan Poppy “Area Governor of the Year” award. She was an avid bowler in her younger years and she loved teaching her children and enjoyed watching them bowl. Kathy was a member of O. E. S. Lila B. Graser #159 – Colgate. She was Majority Member of Bethel #9 Job’s Daughter and proud of her two granddaughters who carry on the tradition, making 3 generations in the family. She was extremely proud of her two Military sons. Kathy enjoyed traveling to many states, going on cruises and different amusement parks with her family and friends. She was an animal lover, particularly birds. Her birdfeeders were always full: welcoming all types, especially cardinals.

Graser Chapter #159 at 8:00 PM. Additional visitation at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park to follow.
