(Nee Salfer) Born into Eternal Life with Jesus on November 1, 2019, at age 58. Cherished wife of Jim for 29 years. Inspirational mother of Dennis (Jenny), Brad, Dan, and Zach. Amazing grandmother of Anthony, Ava, Parker, and Aria. Loving sister of Patti (Keith) Lauber, Matt (Lori) Salfer, Bob (Mary) Nelson, Vicki (the late Mike) Nelson, Corrine (the late Tom) Wasicek, and Julie (Jorge) Aguilar. Also loved by her nieces, nephews, other family, many friends, colleagues, and students. Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Gloria Salfer, and Jim’s parents, Jim and Ruth Nelson.

Kathy was a passionate, devoted teacher. She touched the lives of many students and their families over her 34 years of teaching. She loved spending time with her family, going up north, bowling, and the Packers. She was an avid reader and read over 1,784 books.

Memorial Gathering at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 12400 West Cold Spring Road, on Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
