Kathleen Warner, 89, passed away March 4, 2023.
Beautiful wife of the late Bobby Warner, who together missed their daughter Kelley Winter. Known as Grammie to her loving family, her memory lives on through daughter and son Karon and Michael Rachow. And through her grandchildren Alicia and Lianne Rachow, Ty Winter and Jaclyn Poeschl, Bryn Winter and Michael Kocher, and Ben and Anna Rachow. And her great-grandchildren Tia, Otto, and Warner, who made her smile so big.
She will be remembered for her love of deals, steals, and discounts, as the Rummage Queen of West Allis. Both Kathy and Bob enjoyed ushering at many of the playhouses and theaters in the Milwaukee area, helping patrons to their seats and then enjoying a free show. Before that, both worked at Allen-Bradley, where Kathy’s long employment of assembly and manufacturing spanned a heroic 36 ½ years. Kathy’s favorite night would include crispy thin crust pizza, listening to boisterous conversation, and a *very* stiff Manhattan with a cherry. She could often be found chatting with the 123rd Street neighbors, an extended family to the Warners. More than anything, she will be remembered for her love of the color red, as vibrant and bold as she was.
A memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin from 4:30 PM until 6:15 PM. Memorial service at 6:30 PM.
