Ken began his professional life as a store manager for Montgomery Wards, managing stores in Madisonville KY, LaPorte IN, and Cincinnati, OH. For the past 30 years he worked in transportation logistics for various firms in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Nicknamed by some as a “Renaissance Man,” Ken’s hobbies and interests spanned auto racing, running, an eclectic taste in music and art, golfing, extensive knowledge of cars and electronics, as well as stamp and coin collecting. He completed over 20 marathons in his lifetime and countless other races. He enjoyed golfing with the members of the Greenfield Senior Men’s Golf League as well as working out at the West Suburban YMCA. His passions included a love of Marquette University basketball, University of Wisconsin football, and both the Milwaukee Braves and Brewers baseball.
A member of The Church of the Gesu, he served as an usher and greeter for the early Sunday morning services.
The family wishes to extend its deep gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Angels Grace Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided Ken in his last month of life.
