Born into Eternal Life on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at age 81. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Braun) for 47 years. Loving father of Kenneth (Amber) Yakel and Thomas Yakel. Proud grandpa of Amy and Alex Yakel. Dear brother of Joanne (the late John) Majstorovic and Joseph (Marlene) Yakel. Cherished brother-in-law of Grover (Ann) Braun, the late Judy Meister, James (Joanne) Braun, and Roxanne (Jack) Rindt. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Ken proudly served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. He retired in 2001 from GE after 19 years of service. He loved fishing, golfing, and wood working.

Special thanks to the staff at Autumn Leaves of Franklin and Legacy Hospice.

Visitation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8500 W. Cold Spring Rd., Greenfield, on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Private burial at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Hunger Task Force.
