June, My dear friend and partner in so many glorious adventures within the Milwaukee Public Museum and way before then...my Santa Lucia, my guide through the European Village spewing out customs and traditions especially at Christmas time. The Village did not sparkle it was you! Remember that upside down tree that hung proudly in center courtyard? Oh so much to full our hearts with memories that will enable you (and all of us) to get through grief and low times. You were the best docent that the MPM ever had-ever will. Change doesn’t always bring enhancements does it? Ken kept the home fires lit and shared in the comings and goings of your two busy fulfilled lives. He loved watching all those varied holiday decorations going up then down. Your home was a shrine to every holiday - so NEAT! I am going to miss his military service on Sat the 25th but you know I am with you 100%. Glad Mark, Mary and Elizabeth are by you side along with so many great, devoted friends and family. I can’t wait to give you a big hug and share the pictures of his miraculous life come the end of February. I am praying that you grieve hard for a short while then start to relax and rebuild your strength. After all, Mileagers is waiting...and new tours to plan and conduct. My blessings and love dear friend.
