Kerry Elizabeth Cosgrove
Kerry was born on December 7th {Pearl Harbor Day, although many years later }. She passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022. Age 68. Daughter of Matthew and Maureen Cosgrove and is survived by three of her siblings Mary (Jim)Denis, Bill (Rebecca) and Ed. She was aunt to neices Meghan (Carlos) and Mara (J.D.) and nephews Jamie (Michelle) and Michael (Jacalyn). She will be fondly remembered by the grandchildren Rony, Leo, J.P., Maureen, Addison and Audrey. She will be missed by cousins Vinny, Clarita, Chris, Bill and Apryl. She is preceded in death by her mother and father and brother Matthew, as well as her beloved cats Stella Blue and Alvin (baby cats).
Kerry had a second family in New Hampshire that included Penny (Griz) and Becky (John) and all their family.
A private family Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022.
A special thank you to the staff at Froedert Hospital for all of the loving care you provided for Kerry. Memorials appreciated to March of Dimes or Wisconsin Humane Society.
Kerry did many different jobs in her life but she found her calling in working with the Wisconsin tourism community. She was administrative assistant at Circle Wisconsin and loved helping to assist the group tour efforts. During the pandemic she recently found a second calling working in the Elmbrook School District.
She has been eulogized this past few days with many kind words – loving , caring, everyone’s sister, prayer warrior.
Kerry embraced our Irish heritage and we always intended to return.
She reconnected with her high school friends from Marillac and was starting to plan a second reunion. Her grade school friend Jan and she recently saw Paul McCartney in Madison. She loved The Beatles! She was an avid reader and like to do craft projects. Her candle and Princess House crystal are legendary!
