We are proud to be colleagues with Dr. Cyr. However, it really leaves an empty feeling that we will never come to know Kevin. We are blessed to have shared some time virtually with him. For that we are grateful. We are also grateful to have been allowed access to the wonderful service on his behalf.

Kevin, we will miss you as a neighbor and years ago our connection to Nordco. Your smile and great personality will surely be missed. Your family and friends will carry your memories on. One day we will meet again. Debbie & Kurt Kleppek

Pat Tajnai left a message on December 6, 2020:
Ryan, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I have some fond memories of all of us doing Cub Scout activities like those bird houses your dad cut out and showed us all how to put them together. Also he let me paint a star on the garage door just so I could say I helped paint that cool looking garage door. Your father will be missed a lot but just remember all the good memories. I’m sorry I can’t make it to the funeral but I will watch the live stream if I can. Take care Ryan, Mrs. Tajnai
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Kevin was both a coworker, friend and although a bit younger than me a mentor. We worked in the same engineering office for many years and along with Dick Marshall we had many both enjoyable and technical conversations, While Dick and I sheared the many years of C.W, requirements and knowledge it was Kevin that was the the real mechanical Engineer that brought us all together. He was an extremely hard and fast worker and had the rare ability to work with everyone from the company owners to management and everyone on the shop floor with equal compassion and sharing his knowledge We also had a bunch of fun outside of work. I already miss him, Jim.

My sincere condolences to Kevin's family. Kevin and I had a unique relationship as supplier and customer, but even more so as friends. Kevin and I would frequently talk to each other regarding business and then turn to discussions about our hunting passion. There were many times that I called Kevin when I had personal decisions to make in my career and he always would listen and lend advice to me. You will be missed Kevin. Rest In Peace my friend.

My most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Andrea and the Barnard Family, I worked in the same four desk “Engineering Room” at Charter Wire, from the day he began employment there. I was privileged to see him grow from a young man fresh out of collage to a confident professional engineer. His mechanical imagination and abilities had no limits. His gifted personal drive for perfection along with a personality that is bestowed only to a few, made him a man that very few of us could ever hope to measure up. On my last visit with him at his machine shop, as I left he said , “ If there’s anything I can do for you, let me know, I mean it!”. This was Kevin Benard, I will deeply miss him.

Upon meeting Kevin the first several times at bike races where he was a voracious supporter of Andrea’s passion and hard work, it was immediately clear how in love he was with her! An easy guy to converse with, Kevin just made you smile! We will all miss him greatly!
