Raphael and family..Thanks so much for informing me of your mom's passing. To say that she was something else is an understatement!! From our days dancing at the Y (in ancient times)till the last time we spoke, she's never changed. My dear friend is the last sister to go. As I told you, thank you for being there for her. She cared for your sister to the end. Stay close to your nephews...let them understand who she was. My best to you and your family as you mourn . All best wishes.Ronn Daniels

Family and friends of Ms. Leatta: I am so happy to have known Ms Leatta. My wife is Rachael. I am Ronnie. We have loved the time we have spent laughing, supporting emotionally and spiritually, talking and enjoying this wonderful life with our dear friend. God looks on creation with love and He sees us as good. Each person has gifts that make our lives worth living. I admired Ms Leatta’s devotion to her family, her daughter Stephanie and her grandsons. She shared a special love for her son Ralph. You are missed. I am saddened but I am also glad that your journey has ended and you have finished your course. Rest in eternal peace.

On yesterday I received word that Leatta Jones had passed on to glory. It saddened me and left me to reminisce about this notable woman. In earlier times our paths paralleled but were still separate. As the years passed, our paths quite unexpectedly came together and even more astonishingly merged into one. It was a time of wonder. Leatta, or Lee as she was oft called, was bold, but not brash, she was adventurous, but not reckless; she was a seeker of knowledge. Lee possessed a innate skill for the medical profession which she had chosen and pursued it with a passion. She was undaunted in performing her tasks even in an environment that was rife with dangerous uncertainties. Throughout those uncertain years of technical medical practices she garnered praise from her colleagues for her adroitness and dependability. During our time together, Lee was a staunch defender of family and friends. She was steadfast in her love and caring for her daughter Stephanie and her son Euriael whom she called Ralph. Lee was also energetic in putting together special gatherings and offering her assistance to younger families in our circle that were new to the area wherein we lived. It was a wholesome life. Alas, as time sped onward, our paths diverged. Yet, I am left with a fondness and gratefulness for having walked a while with her. Now it is time to bid a last farewell and I do so knowing that she is resting in the everlasting arms of her beloved Jesus. I pray that her surviving family can take solace that she was a remarkable woman. Rowan W. Bronson, Ed.D. Colonel, USAF (Ret)
