Len will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times, but unfortunately this time the pain was too much and Len departed this life on May 20, 2022 at age 42. Loving son of Regina and Myron Mosby. Sometimes beloved older brother of Kim Mosby and Angie Mosby (Corey Rogers). Fun uncle of Amari Mosby and Kenji Rogers. Best dog dad of Doogie and Billie, who now have been included into friend Mark Schaffer’s posse. Also much loved by aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and Jean Perchick and Leonard and Violet Tennessee Mosby. Leonard loved his dogs like the rest of us love our children. When living in California he would take them to the beach to run as often as he physically could. They would accompany him when driving cross-country, stopping at national parks along the way. He never made a decision without considering the impact on his dogs. He loved all kinds of music and attended many music festivals over the years. In middle school and high school he played football, tennis, softball, and pickup basketball at the YMCA.
We will always remember with mixed feelings mind you our family trips to Philadelphia, the Jersey Shores, Camping in the Dells with the Kostrivas Clan, Toronto, Mackinac Island, Disney Land and most definitely Japan. Len always brought a little bit of chaos to the equation.
Growing up he followed all the Wisconsin teams, but was particularly obsessed with the Packers. Leonard listened to podcasts to stay current in a wide variety of topics, so he could talk with anyone about anything. He had strong opinions and was not afraid to share them. He was connected to the earth through gardening, continued to believe in a higher power, and found his best days enjoying nature with his dogs.
“You were loved by many and will be dearly missed. Meet you on the other side.”
