Lois A. Schneider was taken gently and peacefully to heaven the evening of July 19. This ended a fight with cancer which was carried out with grace and dignity that was truly inspiring. Family was Lois’s heart and soul. She was preceded in death by her parents, several aunts and uncles. She leaves behind her loving life-partner, Dr. Thomas Schneider. She was the role model for three amazing daughters and women: Kristyn (Ed) Rose, Janna, and Lindsay (Michael) Fox. She was a loving grandmother (“Nene”) to grandchildren Sophia, Alex, Ella, Iver, Zinnia, Chappie and Wren. Facetime and visits gave her such joy and comfort. She is further survived by siblings, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends that span coast to coast. We thank the doctors, nurses and staff and Froedtert Cancer Center and Hospital, particularly the staff of the Courage Clinic. Thank you to Seasons Hospice Services for her transition care. It is our hope that a Christian burial service may be carried out when public health restrictions are eased.
In the meantime, memorials could be to a charity of your choice, the American Cancer Society, or a cancer-related charity of your choice.
Please give a hug to those you love, and let them know every day how much they mean to you.
