Louis H. Winkelhake “Lou”

Started his "new adventure" on Monday, February 29th 2016, at the age of 80. Loving husband of Arlene (nee Albrecht), for over 34 years. Devoted father of Nancy (Lowell), Keith (Jodie), and Darren (Elizabeth Hummel). Loving Step Father of Mark Mani (Karin) and Michael Mani (Julie Marrow). Proud grandfather of Christopher (Sondra Christiansen), Kevin (Kristi), Kyley, Brian Hinton, Joseph Mani (Ambre Wolford), Joshua Mani (Candice) and Christina Mani. Brother of Larry (Jean Guzzetta). Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

All services take place on Saturday, March 5th, 2016. Visitation 10:00 AM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI. Service at Noon. Committal to immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park. A special thank you to the staff at the Heart Hospital for the caring help provided to the family. Lou spent 20 years in the aerospace industry, he entered the property and casualty insurance business as a partner with Neuhaus, Winkelhake & Associates, became an associate at Robertson, Ryan Associates, Inc. and finished his career as a principal at First Associated Insurance Agencies, Inc. of Brookfield, Wisconsin. He was devoted to his family and especially enjoyed participating in family events. We're going to miss him something awful!
