Louise Mary Sundquist went home to her Lord and Savior, on July 19, 2022, at the age of 79 after several months of health struggles. Louise was surrounded by her loving family including nieces Sue Carbine (Bob), Jenn and Jordan Schanz, Monica Cook, and Ginny Stegemiller (Terry). She is survived by beloved nieces and nephews Joel Sundquist (Denise), Stephen Sundquist, Syrena Steele (James), Jessica Barahona (Chava), Emily Van Ess (Chase) and Jason (Elizabeth) Bock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Emelia Sundquist, sister Dorothy Cook and brothers Don Sundquist and Paul Sundquist. She is survived by her sister-in-law Gudrun Sundquist.
Louise was first a high school English teacher and later a banking conversion analyst for Fiserv. She also earned a degree in theology, was an avid traveler, accomplished quilter, and gave many hours of service to her community.
Louise’s Memorial Service will be Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at New Berlin Free Methodist Church, 2975 South Sunnyslope Road, New Berlin, Wisconsin, with a family interment at Highland Memorial to follow.
Aunt Louise’s message to her family and friends is this, “I have gone home to be with my Savior and Lord so do not grieve for me, but remember me with kindness.” We will miss her very much until we meet again.
