Lucille “Lu” H. Techel

Left us to join her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at age 106. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years George. Loving mother to Sandra (Bob) Smith and Gary. Cherished grandma to Lorie (Paul) Lorbiecki, Renee Reckert, and Amanda Klein. Precious great-grandma to Bryan and Chris Vreeland and Kylee Klein. Special great-great-grandma (G.T.) to Shyenne Vreeland. Step grandma and great-grandma to Daniel (Brenda) Smith and children; and Deborah Farr and children. Preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Louise Beckmann, and siblings Irma (Tony) Stich, Gertie (Herb) Schultz, Bill (Ruth) Beckmann, Ruth (Dar) Lambrecht. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, friends from Briggs, and church.

A sincere thank you to Pastor Christian Winkel for his compassionate care and comfort in Lu’s final days and to Phil and Lynn Hermann for their transport so Lu can go to her ‘Little Church.’ A most heartfelt thank you to Dr. Mohammad Fareed for his loving care and concern.

Visitation will be held at Redemption Lutheran Church, 5641 North 68th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Committal at Wisconsin Memorial Park to follow service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Redemption Church will be appreciated.
