Mae Ruth Hearn passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at age 92. Preceded in death by her parents, Reverend L. K. Life is such a very precious gift and death a treacherous enemy. How we long for the day when our enemy will be conquered and real life can be enjoyed forever as God promises! Until then it's been my family's prayer to our Father that He comfort each of Mrs. Hearn's dear children, grandchildren, family and friends. Please accept our sincere expression of condolences.

How I will miss my beautiful grandmother. My life has been enriched having known and loved her. I will never forget the summers we shared visiting Birmingham Alabama. Family was very important to her, and she wanted to instill that same love in me. Those road trips with her will be etched in my mind and heart forever. The laughter, awesome home cooked food, and love on those trips were the best, even the occasional needed discipline was always given with love.
