Margit passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at the age of 79 in the loving care of AngelsGrace Hospice. She was married to the late Bela Portik who proceeded her in death on October 24, 2017. She was the mother of Erika (Randy) Pack, Andi (Joseph) Jansky, Bela (Erin) Portik, and Vicky Kamenz. Also survived by seven beautiful grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and other close family in Florida. Margit will be dearly missed by life long friends Maria, George, Paul, and Kathy as well as other friends and family.

 

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue in New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Saturday, January 2, 2020, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a short service at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha with a private family service.
