Marguerite Charlotte Nelson

Marguerite C. Nelson, 94, of Wauwatosa, WI, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee, Lawlis Family Hospice.

Marguerite Charlotte Nelson was born December 4, 1927 to Joseph A. and Emma (Nee Burbach) Littel. She was one of five children. Beloved wife to the late James L. Nelson. They were married in 1950 and will be together again in eternity. She and Jim were members of St. Margaret Mary Parish and were involved in numerous church groups throughout the many years.

Marguerite was a 37-year employee of the Master Lock Corporation and immensely enjoyed her career and the friendships it created.

Marguerite was enthusiastic about life. In retirement she was able to enjoy some of her favorite past times such as gardening, reading, decorating, cooking and most of all, her beloved Green Bay Packers.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph F. (Irene) Littel, Norman (Ruth) Littel, Gene Littel, sister Mary Ellen (Greg) Kraft and Godmother to the late Tammi Kraft (Sonny) Hutto.

Marguerite’s surviving family would like to say a special thank you to Marguerite’s life-long best friend and neighbor, Mrs. Katherine Blechacz. Your friendship and kindness meant the world to our beloved Aunt.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM. Christian Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 AM. Burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
