Marianne grew up in West Allis, moved to New Berlin after marrying her husband, Andy, and then in 1983 moved to Waukesha. She was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (West Allis) and St. Mary’s Catholic Church (Waukesha). She was a member of the Golden Angels in Waukesha and developed many, many friends throughout the years. She came from a large family so enjoyed spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, great granddaughter, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Later she moved to an apartment complex in Waukesha where she made even more friends and enjoyed all the activities offered by a retirement community. Throughout the years, Marianne enjoyed traveling and took many trips in and around the USA. She had an infectious zest for life, could talk to anyone and always had a smile for all. The last few years were not easy as she battled heart disease and MDS, and she fought as hard as she could until her body could not support her any more.
Marianne courageously decided to move to Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc on August 13. She got to spend quality time with family and friends for a few days and then in the wee hours of the morning on August 17, with her daughter, Anne, and her niece, Kathy, by her side, she peacefully left this world to be with our Lord in Heaven.
God bless you and keep you, my sweet mom, Marianne. We will dearly miss you and know you will be in our hearts until we will be together again someday!
I love you! …your Anne Marie
