I never really known Marie at all. I would see her with her sisters at some family parties and I would go say hello once in a big while. I feel awfully sorry for her loving family and friends that have to deal with such grief. She was a nice person, I remember one thing that would bright up my mind: Her eyes. I would lock eyes with her at some parties and see joy and love in her eyes. She looked like she thought she was the most Luckiest person to have such a nice family. Back then when I was little I was shy but now that I'm older and now a freshman, I wish to have talked to her more. I will no longer look at my middle name as annoying, but I will think of it as of Marie living on.I give my biggest condolences.- Jeana Marie Hanus

Our deepest sympathy to Rosanne, Karen, Ed, and Bob Hanus during this very difficult time. Marie was such a special person and the kind of friend that anyone could ever hope for. She had a great sense of humor, showed kindness and sincerity and could always be counted on to give an honest thoughtful opinion when asked, Marie was a very genuine and generous person and would go the extra mile to help out when needed. I will always remember Marie as a very dear friend and was lucky enough to have had her in my life over the past 36 years. She will be thought of often with many fond memories.
