Marilyn Emily Bender

Bender, Marilyn Emily (nee Tacke) – Born on 14 June 1935, Born to Eternal Life on 6 November 2022.

Beloved wife of the late James L. Bender. Dear mother of James E. Bender, Laura (Paul) Truess-Bender and Paul (Anne) Bender. Grandmother of John (Morgan), Justin (Amanda), Joseph, Jack, Mary and Alyssa. Great grandmother of Max, Mae, Luke, Alivia and Brayden. Sister of Ronald James (Ruth) Tacke. Sister-in-law of JoAnne Mullett.

Preceded in death by her parents, Edward James Tacke and Clara Verna Augusta Hottinger and brother, Terry Norman Tacke. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and baking – especially kringle and cheesecake. She did many DIY projects around the house. She was an avid fan of the Brewers and the Bucks. She had a great sense of humor and quick wit to brighten any party. She is greatly missed.

Visitation at OLD ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 844 North Broadway, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM.
