(Nee Garritty) Age 89, was Promoted to Glory on August 7, 2011 and was joyfully reunited with her late husband, Rothwell Stickley and into the glory of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Marion, formerly of Milwaukee, was residing with her daughter, Beth, in Elcho, Wisconsin. At the time of her passing. Marion and Rothwell served as ministers in The Salvation Army for 36 years with appointments in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri and Indiana and retired with the rank of Major. Her fervent prayer was that souls would come to know Jesus as their Savior. Marion was born February 24, 1922 to her late parents, John and Marion Garritty in New Haven, Connecticut. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Catherine Post and Betty Buschmann; niece Cathy Post; son-in-law Guy Schuelke and daughter-in-law Cindy Stickley. Marion is survived by one brother; Dr. John (Ellen) Garritty of Antigo, Wisconsin; daughter Beth Schuelke of Elcho, Wisconsin, son Rothwell Stickley of Milford, Michigan, daughter Kathy (Jon) Johnsen of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son David (Marion) Stickley of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, three grandsons; Gabriel Johnsen, Ben and David Stickley, one granddaughter Abigale Johnsen, one great- grandchild; Tierra Rose Allen, and many other family and friends. Visitation and time of fellowship will be held Thursday, August 25, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Funeral Home with a Church Service at 7:00 PM officiated by Major Ron Gorton, (retired). Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 10700 West Capitol Drive, Friday, August 26, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to The Salvation Army, 11315 West Watertown Plank Road, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, 53226-0019.
