A simple but very fond memory i have of aunt Marion is from the early '50's when my dad Jack Little would pile us kids into the Jeep station wagon on a Saturday morning and drive up to the old family home on 34th st. in Milwaukee, to get together with grandpa Ben, uncles Al and Bill (Dick was away at college) and aunt Marion. She always helped out minding the little kids, making us the best egg salad sandwiches. To this day, 69 years later, every time I have an egg salad sandwich, it takes me right back to 34th st.and I see aunt Marion with her big smile, taking loving care of all of the children around the kitchen table! A simple memory, perhaps, but Marion, you meant so much to us all!

I will always remember you as the Booth Lake Historian. Your love for the lake and its community will never be forgotten. You touched my life, because of your kindness. I will always cherish the day you visited me at my post in the parking lot at Memorial Park. You came with 2 mini bottles of wine to drink as we celebrated our years as caretakers. You made me feel so special for the years we gave to the municipality. You will always hold a special place in my heart. And to your darling daughter Laura, May your memories bring you peace and comfort, because when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure!

Marion was like a second mother to me. She always made our family feel welcomed in her cottage. Life was always an adventure for her. I remember when we were young how we decorated the small plastic boat and entered it in the 4th of July parade. Marion came up with the idea of the three men in the tub where Tom, Janie and Sarah were the three men in the tub. We still have home movies of that adventure. I wish we could go back to those days since spending summers with the Guild family. These were my favorite memories of my entire life. Another favorite memory was Marion's 60th birthday party. That night was a blast. I have so many cherished memories of Marion and her family. I love your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Marion will certainly be missed by so many people. Amy Svoren/Kaun

Dear Marion, I was fortunate enough to meet you and Gordon 44 years ago on your journey through Germany. It was the beginning of a great friendship of a whole family. Thanks for that ! My thoughts are with your family Petra
