Mary Alice Kohl

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at age 65.  Waiting for her were her loving parents, Claire and Daniel Kohl; her dear brother and friend, Michael Kohl; her precious nephew, Andrew; and many deeply loved animals that she cared for over the years.  Warmhearted and special Mumas of Lisa (Mario) Delval.  Proud and devoted Gramma of Mario Jr., Malakai and Angelique.  Beloved and caring Sister of Dan (Mary Ann) Kohl.  Fun loving and cherished Sister of Michelle Taylor.  Loving and supportive Aunt of Kristen (Dan Crawford) Kohl, Stephanie (Taz) Tazi, Danielle Kohl, Jeffrey (Darcy) Marx, Janette Marx, Michelle Marx, Zach (Becca) Dyer and Ashley (Tom) Jankowski.  Adoring Great Aunt of Chase (Nicolette), Gavin, Cully, Tariq, Tristan, Charlie, Maddie, Andrew, Allie (Danny), Jeremy (Jenie), Jaylin, Ethan, Daniel and 2 more on the way.  Kind Great-great Aunt of Jordan, Jaxon and Jadon.  Mary will always be loved and remembered by everyone that knew her; Scott, Nicky, Rita, Mary Ellen, Sherri and many, many more “best friends”.  Mary was a passionate animal lover, especially dogs, birds, cats, and she loved festivals, Harleys, dancing and spending time with her family.

Memorial Gathering at Krause Funeral Home 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 14 from 11:00 AM to 2:45 PM.  Celebration of Life Service at 3 PM.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists at Ascension St. Francis Hospital ICU for taking such special care of our Mary for the past several weeks.

Memorials in Mary’s name are preferred.

Mary’s personality was so loving, sweet and nonjudgmental that she was able to befriend anyone she met.  Her positive energy and strong encouragement will be remembered and cherished.

Mary, we will miss you more than words can say, we love you and cherish our wonderful memories of you.
