Mary Ann Eugenia Gross Bach

Mary Ann was born to parents, Mabel and Henry Gross at home in Milwaukee on May 10, 1931. She died peacefully in her sleep on October 20, 2022 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Robert Bach, her brother Milton Gross and her sister, Darlene Gryskiewicz. She is survived by her three children, Sandra Lamberton (Robert), Robert Bach (Kelly) and Linda Vander Heiden (Richard). She also is survived by 6 grandchildren; Mark, Kathryn, Pamela, Lisa, Kyle, Kevin and their spouses and 12 great grandchildren: Adam, Michael, Nathaniel, Jacob, Amanda, Owen, Eliot, Addison, Emma, Jade, Eliza and Taylor. Mary Ann is also survived by her sister, Carol and many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann graduated from St. Agnes Grade School and Menomonee Falls Highschool. Mary Ann and Bob raised their children in Butler, WI. It was time and place where everyone was both neighbor and friend. Mary Ann instilled a foundation of faith and family that flourishes in the lives of her children and their children to this very day. Mary Ann loved crocheting and playing cards. Mary Ann always managed to make everything feel like home to everyone.

By the mid-70’s Mary Ann and Bob moved to Southern California. Several children and their families followed. She worked at Clines Hallmark Store in Riverside California until she was 76! Upon Bob’s passing, she returned to Menomonee Falls until her death. We love you Mom and will always miss you.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at St. Mary’s Parish, N89 W16297 Cleveland Avenue Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin at 10:30 AM. Memorial Gathering from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at 10:30 AM.
