Jeanne and Jay Johns left a message on April 10, 2022:
We were sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. We had the privilege of teaching with Mary at Templeton Middle School. As a teacher, she was strict and challenged her students to work hard. Many students returned to thank her and express their appreciation for all she had done to prepare them for success . As a colleague, Mary was supportive, a mentor, a practical jokester, had a sense of humor but best of all a friend. You can be very proud of all she accomplished in her life just as she was proud of all of you. When someone we love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Our sincere condolences to her family, Jeanne and Jay Johns
