Mary "Rachel" Mataya entered Heaven's Gate on July 1, 2014 at the age of 83.
She was born February 3, 1931 in County Mayo, Ireland and later raised in London, England.
Rachel was a devout Catholic with an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and a special affinity for the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was a tireless advocate for the rights of the unborn child.
Proceded in death by her parents James & Lillian Devaney, brother Patrick and sisters, Doris, Iris and Delores of Ireland and England.
Survived by loving husband Emil of 59 years, Sons, Kevin (Kim), Barry and Mark,
daughters, Carolyn (Larry) Couch and Jennifer,
grandchildren, Shannon, Sarah, Kari (Andy) Sherman and Eric,
great grandchildren, Alexis, Angela, Nathan, Makayla, Blake and Trent,
brothers, Noel (Kathy) Devaney and Collin (May) Devaney.
Further survived by many nieces and nephews throughout the United Kingdom and the United States.
The family will have a private service and internment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha WI
