MaryAnn Mayrhofer Kosey Meisenheimer – passed away October 18, 2023 after suffering complications from a stroke.
She was born on October 25, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Elizabeth and Florian Mayrhofer. She graduated from Messmer High School and married Joseph Kosey. They were blessed with two children before Joseph died in an accident. In 1969 she met and married Budd Meisenheimer, a widower with four children. To these six children they added one more. They lived to celebrate 50 years of marriage together before Budd’s death on February 1, 2021.
MaryAnn is survived by her brother Michael (Nancy), her seven children and their spouses: John (Mary) Meisenheimer, Dawn (Larry) Kestner, Jerold (Kristen) Kosey, Julie (Elliott) Hoole, Erik (Adrianne) Meisenheimer, Tracy (Bret) Reynolds, and Aaron (Nancy) Meisenheimer, 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. MaryAnn’s greatest love was her family– all of her children were proud to call her Mom. She was an avid gardener and loved to sew, creating beautiful quilts for family and friends.
A funeral mass for MaryAnn and Budd Meisenheimer will be celebrated Saturday October 28, 11:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 3970 North 92nd Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53222. Visitation will be held at the church at 10:00 AM (before the mass). Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
