Began his journey home, Friday, August 10, 2018 at the age of 28. Beloved son of Gary and Cynthia Kubis. Loving brother of Elizabeth Kubis. Cindy and Gary, I know from the days of sending Matthew to St Charles Borromeo School, that you raised him well, and did everything you could to give him the best life a kid could have. He was so smart and talented in school. Your love for Matthew was evident in all your choices for him, and I believe that love stays with him and enabled him to know God's love deeper.

Matthew was nothing but kind and polite to me in the few moments I got to spend with him over the last 13 years, but I understand exactly what he was going through unfortunately. Unless you go through this type of pain you cannot explain why. He was a great person inside and out I hope he rests in peace and that he's in a better place with Jesus.
