Our sincere condolences on the sad passing of your Mom Carolyn and family! Jim and I were lucky folks to meet Ms. Mattie when she visited Carolyn here in NJ. A most sweet, thoughtful person, you felt the goodness that surrounded her and her family. We are forever grateful to have met her and thoroughly her company when she visited, and really enjoyed our long distance hello's through many years. I can still see her smile and hear her laugh. Love, Carol & Jim.

I called her Mother, because that's how Carolyn introduced me to her. It ALWAYS felt right and good to do so because of her warmth. Though her tender touch may no longer be felt, her memory will live on until we meet again. God bless the family.

Our condolences go out to the Daniels family. We have known Mrs. Mattie all our lives as my mom / grandmother met her in the late 60’s and took her under her wing; she was direct in what she said but she did it with style and class. Mrs. Mattie will never be forgotten she made sure of it and departed on Rolanda’s birthday. What a bang. That was our Mrs. Mattie. She will be missed. Thanks Mrs. Mattie for being there for mom/grandma and being so nice to us. Condolences to the family!
