August 22, 1921 - January 5, 2019

Passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the age of 97. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Orval.

Loving mother of Richard (Nancy Lee) and Keith (Nancy Rose) Mayo. Nonny of Jessica (Eric) Retzlaff, Kyle Mayo. Also loved by other friends.

Melva was a lifelong member of Bay View United Methodist Church. She loved crafting, playing bingo, and taking car rides in the country. She enjoyed the north woods as her second home. Thanks to the Hickory Park staff for the social activities and care over the last 9 years and a special thanks to Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care for making mom comfortable. Private Services were held.
