Mercedez Christina Brown-Weeks

Born August 13, 2007, to Mother Victoria Weeks, and Father Christopher Brown at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mercedez ascended from this world, leaving behind three brothers and two sisters. Dyeiontai Perry 14, Donshea Trotter Jr. 11, Princess Trotter 9, Destiny Trotter 8, and King Ra Cowen Bonds 3. Her Grandparents, Dorothy Brown and Randolph Brown Sr, Shanell Cooper, Gerald Weeks. Her Great Grandparents, Sheila Davis, and Carolyn Weeks. Mercedez also has three aunties, and a plethora of cousins, and friends.

A life full of joy, a smile filled with happiness. Mercedez was determined to live a life of smiles and enjoyment, as often depicted in her activities. A girl of the water, loving to swim, dance, sing, tell jokes, hang with her friends, and family. Even on her bad days, she found joy in all things. Looking to smile and be the child of her youth. She loved her mother and father dearly, as well as her brothers and sisters. Mercedez had a way of bringing light to a dark room. With her smile, lovely voice and big sense of humor. Although all things were not bright in Mercedez life always, she truly looked to find the good in everyone, and all things.

Mercedez was a light in a dark world, that was very necessary. Full of talents and gifts, a big heart with which she would give her last if she had to, just to make another happy. Mercedez will be greatly missed from this tragedy that took so many lives. We believe that she will always shine down upon us, within the arms of the one who holds all our cares, within the arms of her uncle Randy, whom we lost three years earlier. May her soul rest in Heaven, within the presence of our almighty God, and his Angels.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM with services to immediately follow at 10:30 AM at Haven of Hope International Ministries, 4040 West Fond du Lac Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery.
