Michael J. Dahlman

Born December 16, 1949, passed away peacefully in his sleep at St Mary’s Ascension Hospital on Sunday morning, April 23, 2023.

Michael is survived by his brother David Dahlman, sister-in-law Karen Dahlman, his nephew Robert, his niece Anje, grandniece Lexi, and grandnephew Dylan. Michael is the son of Russell and Mary Dahlman.

Michael graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in 1967. He lived his life in Milwaukee in a house he owned on the East Side. He spent several years in the 1970s in the Florida Keys building trusses for a construction company. He also spent a few months on a lobster dive boat in the Caribbean viewing it from underwater.

With what he learned at the truss factory he moved back to Milwaukee to became a successful contractor over the past 40 years under the name Dahlman Decks. His passion was NASA’s space program and was an avid and expert duck hunter along with his father, brother and friends in and around Lake Puckaway.
