I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Mother. No matter how old you are, you always need your mom. Please accept my sympathy and prayers. I am sure she is happy in heaven now, no more suffering, no more pain. One thing to share: as your mom and I have August birthdays, one favorite memory is when we went to Heineman's for lunch, when we both turned 40. One of many good times and talks over the years. Over my 50+ years of friendship with Nell, I feel so fortunate to have crossed paths with Michelle several times in that time. She has left an indelible impression of lifelong positivity, courage, humor, and love. This is a void not easily filled, but as I read the names (and unnamed) of so many who love her, I know that her memory is safeguarded in her sisters and brother and in her sons. It will flourish in her much anticipated (and as yet unforeseen) grandchildren. And her Toby… A hui hou—until we meet again.
