Miss Scheifen was my 7th grade teacher at St Mary's in riverwest. I consider her the best teacher I had and wanted to tell her so. I heard she attended Saturday Mass at Christ King and went there twice to see if she was attending but both times I struck out. I googled her name today May 28th 2022 and her obituary popped up. To her family and friends, I give you my sympathy. Thank you Miss Scheifen!! Sal Collura

Milly was a wonderful person to work with. I enjoyed going into Mrs. Fry's classroom where Milly was helping out and see her with the children. They always seemed to respond well to the help she gave. She's in a wonderful place now. God love, and rest in peace.

Miss Scheifen. Forever remembered by myself as THE top teacher of my life. She was gently firm and commanded respect. Of the six children in our family, one thing for sure is we ALL had her as a teacher. She MUST have known and understood my particular learning style before attention deficit 'disorders' were understood, especially in parochial environments. I pretty much 'self studied' during less interesting lessons (I kept an ear out) and read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica during 7th Grade. I regret not going back to see her after graduation 47 years ago. To her survivors, I express my condolences but be cheered that she enjoyed a long life.
