The Chaney family announce the homegoing of Dorothy J. Chaney, who departed her earthly life on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at age 73.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Ceolia Estella Gilleylen and Elbert Thompson Sr; two sisters, Glenda L. Thompson and Mary Jo Thompson; two brothers, William E. Thompson and Bobby Thompson.

She leaves to cherish her memories husband Gary P. Chaney. Beloved and devoted mother of Michael Chaney, Ulysses “Tony” (Doroetta) Chaney and Kelvin Chaney.  Proud and loving grandmother of Deminio, Alexis, Tonesha, Ailesha, Esha, Kacie, Kalyn, Kylee and 13 great-grandchildren.  A loving sister Evelyn (Lasander) Gibson of Birmingham, AL;  two loving brothers Johnny (Nancy) Thompson of Peru, Indiana and Keith Thompson of Amory, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home 21600 West Capitol Drive  Brookfield, Wisconsin on Friday, April 24th, 2020 from 3:00 PM until time of Service at 4:00 PM.  Due to the COVID 19 Situation please be aware that only 10 people with be allowed in to pay their respects at one time.
