Picard, Naomi M. (Nee Grochowski)
Passed away unexpectedly, Friday, November, 4, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late John F. “Jack” for 51 years. Loving mother of the late Diane Picard, David (Sue) and Darren (Wendy). Proud grandma of Alyx Picard and Briana (Ethan) Rowell and great grandma of Evelyn and Isabella. Sister of Ronald (Joanne) Gregg. Special aunt of Michael (Kim) Gregg and John (Melissa) Gregg. Special cousin and Godmother of Joyce (Marty) Lovse. Companion and special friend of Joe Wenskus. Also loved by other relatives, neighbors and many dear friends including her special group of “the club” grade school friends.
Naomi grew up on the southside of Milwaukee until her family moved to Fox Point. She graduated from Shorewood High School in 1955. In her younger years, Naomi was a member of the Maple Dale 4-H Club for 6 years and attended Prospect Hall. She then got married and focused on raising her family. Later Naomi worked at National School Bus Co. for many years. After retirement Naomi and Jack traveled and then shared time between Lake Arrowhead in North Fort Myers, FL and Brown Deer, WI.
She enjoyed gardening, golfing, crocking pickles, going “up north” with her kids, playing cards and she loved to drive. Naomi was a very active 85 year old. She was a giver, always thought of others and lived life to the fullest. Naomi will be deeply missed by her family and friends as she was very involved in their lives.
