I remember growing up with the Widens. Our scouting families were always very close and doing tons of cool adventurous trips together - camping was the most fun. Paul was definitely the funniest and goofiest guy in Pack 129. When we were very young - I remember watching Paul and Kevin practice in the living room to perform the "Walk Like a Man" at the gifford talent show (5th grade I think for them?) - in their head to toe denim to be 'cool' and their plastic 'picture day' combs in their back pocket to use as microphones. They had a few combined birthday parties at the pool with the Scouts too. I also remember Kev and I riding to CCD with Paul and Megan for years, and the 4 of us were all always cracking eachother up and getting scolded by my Grandpa. So many great childhood memories are flooding back now. I am so very sad to hear of his tragic passing, its truly heartbreaking. Sending extra prayers, light, and love to you guys during this heavy and difficult time of grief. Love you guys <3 - Laura
