It is no exaggeration to say that Paul Jennings touched hundreds of thousands of lives with his musical compositions, arrangements, and orchestrations. I had the pleasure and good fortune to play [trombone] in the Marshall University Bands with Paul who would play, direct and create compositions/arrangements for us. They were always up there at the top of all pieces we would perform. I eventually became a band director in the state of Washington where I was often trying to find a good "Paul Jennings" arrangement for my jazz band and other bands ... no exaggeration here, they were always the best In college at Marshall Paul would create arrangements for the jazz band and marching band that always blew me away [and blow audiences away] with the amazing musical sounds, structures and harmonies.. What a great person and unique talent. You will be greatly missed. Craig

I worked for Paul's mother in 1968/1969 at the New Boston Branch of the Portsmouth Public Library. The only college football game I ever attended was to watch Paul play during the game. Ida and Frank invited me to go with them and Tim. They were so very proud of all three of their boys. Paul was a kind and loving person. It was a privilege to know him, and see his love for music.May God console you during this time of grieving and loss.
