Paul Machac, 96 of Gainesboro, Tennessee passed from this life Monday, May 8, 2017, at Standing Stone Care & Rehabilitation Center in Monterey, Tennessee. Mr. Machac was born Friday, April 22, 1921 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Michael Machac and the late Mary (Hallas) Machac. He was the husband of the late Dolores (Reich) Machac. He was loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He served in the Navy Seabees during World War II, and served in the Civilian Conservation Corp in Rusk County, Wisconsin, during the great depression. He retired as a carpenter after 30 years and as a Concierge after another 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapshooting. He was a lifetime member of Daniel Boone Conservation League in Hubertus, Wisconsin. He is survived by: 1 Daughter and Son-in-law: Denise and Tom Baxter of Gainesboro, TN 2 Granddaughters and Spouses: Tammy and Lloyd Sossei of Chesterfield, VA Jennifer and Chris Moore of Pensacola, FL 1 Great Granddaughter: Lanea Sossei of Chesterfield, VA 1 Sister: Eva Williamson of Sussex, WI 1 Brother and Sister-in-law: Michael and Rita Machac of Sparta, WI A host of Nieces and Nephews In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Wife of 52 years: Dolores (Reich) Machac, 2 Sisters: Anne Cook, Josephine Jensen, 3 Brothers: John, Wendell, and Joseph Machac.
Funeral services for Mr. Machac will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2017 beginning at 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Captiol Drive Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Committal Service to follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
