Paul Nathan Miller, 96 of Menomonee Falls passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 after a brief illness with COVID.
Sharp until his final days, Paul was a Veteran of the United States Merchant Marines, a devoted husband and a loving dad. Born in Oshkosh, Paul and his wife Jean spent much of their lives in Milwaukee, where they raised their sons; Gerald, Jeffrey and David.
A hard worker, he dedicated over 40 years to General Motors and retired from there. He was loved by many; including his surviving sons; Gerald and Jeffrey Miller, sister Nora Bartels, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jean, son David and brothers; Johnny, Cully and Ron.
Paul enjoyed simple pleasures of life, fishing, camping, gardening… tomatoes a specialty… and making others smile. Paul loved music, a gifted musician, he enjoyed playing the guitar and in recent years, learned to play the Ukulele, sharing his gifts with those at Riverview Village Assisted Living. Paul would do anything for anyone. His warm and welcoming nature made him a joy to be around.
He was loved by many, even those caring for him in his final days, termed “their favorite patient”. He will be loved, remembered and missed. Paul died peacefully, after a life well lived.
