Dear Julie, Terry, and Dan. I recently found out about your Mother's passing. I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear this. I will always remember her as being one of the nicest people that I have met. She spent a lot of time with my Mother and for that I will always be thankful. She played a big part in possibly saving my life when I was young. I had been home from school with what Mom thought was the flu or something. Polly came over for coffee and I didn't even know she was there. I walked out to the kitchen in shorts and a T shirt to get some water. The first words out of Polly's mouth were, "Sharon, get him dressed. We are going to the hospital." She had seen the red line going up my leg, it was about mid thigh, indicating a blood infection. I don't think Mom would have seen that. They were actually squeezing IV bags with antibiotics to get it into me faster. So Polly played a big part in me still being here. Mom and Polly had some pretty good times together. I will always remember her smile! Again, my deepest sympathy. Will.

I became an RN 1987. My first day on the job Polly was there. She was kind and confident. She helped orient me. She remained on our rehab team til she retired; and she was a great part of our success helping so many patients improve their lives. She will always be held dearly in my heart. I will miss her greatly.
