Passed in to Eternal Life after a 2 year battle with cancer on February 14, 2017, at the age of 92. Devoted husband of Lenora (nee Zamzow), for 67 years. Loving father of Gary (Jan) Bruski, Peter (Jutta) Bruski, and the late Melanie (Al) Wearing. Grandfather of Markus (Brooke) Bruski, Brian Bruski, Brett Wearing, and Matt Bruski. Brother of Sister Marie Bruski, Robert (the late Bev) Bruski, Shirley (the late Bud) Nall, David (Doris) Bruski, Arlene (Richard) Roth, James (Barb) Bruski, the late Richard Bruski, and the late Ted (Ann) Bruski. Also loved by many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Gathering on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. All services at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church (N35 W23360 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee). Private entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Philip served in US Marines during WWII – Pacific Theater. He was a baker in the service and developed a life-long love of baking. He retired from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in 1988. He was an avid photographer and gardener.
