Richard O. Axford, 88, of Sussex, Wisconsin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 18, 2022. Loving husband of Cheryl Axford (nee Schilling). Devoted father of Elizabeth (Damon) Klick and Robert (Michelle) Axford. Proud papa of Devin, Eliana, Lauren, Isabelle and Maecee. He is also survived by special family and friends.Continue Reading

Dick,
You were like a second dad in all the fun (and sometimes not so fun) ways while Rob and I were growing up, finding our way. But you became an irreplaceable father figure the moment my own dad died—I will never forget or undervalue what you did for me. I was a lost kid—you were there.
Because of you, I still use that goofy wooden putter, I spent way too much on a Toby jug while I was in London, and I probably like Scotch a little too much.
Nevertheless… You’re a HUGE part of why I am who I am. Thank you.
