Passed away peacefully on June 17, 2021, at the age of 79. Born October 31, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI. Richard was the youngest of 6 children.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Carol (nee Pestka) of 53 years. He is further survived by sister Barbara, brother Kenneth, sisters-in-law Joyce and Janet, brother-in-law Ken, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Proceeded in death by his parents, brother, and two sisters.
Richard graduated from Boys Tech. High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965. After his discharge in 1965, he started working for A.O. Smith/Tower Company and after 35 years there, Richard retired in December of 2000.
Richard loved family get-togethers, going up north on the pontoon boat and fishing with his brother-in-law, cookouts, pool parties, and playing poker and cribbage.
Richard has been a member of St. Agnes Catholic Parish for over 45 years.
Visitation will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Parish, 12801 West Fairmount Avenue, Butler, Wisconsin 53007 on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 11:00 AM. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
