I only recently came across the obituary for Bob. My deepest sympathies to the family. I really enjoyed working for Bob the store and his mother in the early 1980s. I have a lot of fond memories and had some great times with the family back then. I really miss those days as we were all about the same age. I turned 57 this year and how time as flown. Hope this note finds you all well. I will have to visit the Watertown store and say hi. I lived in Lake Mills for a few years and never knew you guys had bought the Ace in Watertown. Hopefully we can connect for lunch sometime when I am in the area.

He has been my friend for 40 years. We met in a most unusual way through his oldest son but before I had met his son. It's just not going to be the same after picking up my mail from him over the last 20 years and seeing him smile handing me the bundle. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord as he was a Born Again Christian. Remember II COR 5:7.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. May God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time and you may you always be reminded of your father's greatness and know that although he is gone physically from this world his spirit will remain with you always. God bless you and your family.

"Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." (Isaiah 26:19) This prophecy tells us that one day we will see our dead loved ones again in a new world! Please seek Jehovah God to see his promises fulfilled....

Dear Blair Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was an amazing Dad to all of his children and was a wonderful role model to everyone. He had a huge heart and was always joking around, laughing and in a good mood. He was always very generous. From the times he picked Jeannine and I up from roller skating and stopped so we could get snacks and sodas to the times and he and Audrey came out to Phoenix, AZ and treated me for dinner. I always respected him and admired him as my buddy's Dad and as a leader, businessman and overall lovable guy. He will be greatly missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
