Robert, "Bob" was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wi. The eldest of three, he began working hard at an early age to help support his family. Bob was educated through the Catholic schools from elementary through higher education, with graduations from Don Bosco High School in 1957, Marquette University with a B.S. in accounting in 1961, teaching degree in 1965, Master of Education in Admin./supervision in 1967, and completion of his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Administration and Supervision in 1969. He also served in the army reserves for 6 years and assisted in teaching there as well. His vast work experiences included public accounting; teaching assistant, administrator and Dean of night division at Marquette; and Reading Administrator/Educator at WAWM school district for 26 years from which he retired. Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed tutoring adults and students to help further their education as well as passionately expand his own learning through research on many topics of interest. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Bob's family was always the main focus and center of his world. Throughout his life and especially during retirement, his interests included exploring nature through fishing, hunting, gardening, biking, walking; going on trips with his family/wife; tackling any and all projects; appreciating antique cars, and spending time with his family, friends, miniature schnauzer, and especially his little grandchildren. Bob enjoyed striking up conversations with anyone he met. He always loved to tell stories, jokes, and socialize with others. Bob's beautiful spirit will truly be missed. He was never a quitter who continued to fight until the very end. We love you always. May you be at peace. A special thanks to nurses and staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Froedtert Memorial Hospital especially Dr. Doug Evans and the Pancreatic Cancer Team.
