Robert Haynes

Passed away peacefully on August 21, 2010, at age 97. Beloved husband of the late Carmen. Loving father of Vivienne Maitland, the late Joan Margaret Haynes, Francis (Carrie) Haynes and the late Henry Haynes. Proud grandfather of Kristine Maitland, Ashley Haynes and Austin Haynes. Dear brother of Albert Haynes, Edith Ho-Alim, Norma Li, Doris King and Sidney Haynes; and his late siblings Donald Haynes, George Haynes, Herman Haynes, Sammy Haynes, Iris Smith, Eileen Lord and Gladys Yahp. Also loved by other family and friends. Robert was the Senior Geological Land Surveyor for the New York and New Jersey Port Authority. He also was an avid gardener, world traveler and photographer. Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 11, at 11AM until time of Service at 12 noon. Memorials appreciated to American Cancer Society .
