Was called home to the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Age 93. Beloved husband of Gertrude (nee Stechauner). Devoted father of Robert (Tammy), Thomas, Steven, Marguerite (Daniel) Nachtigall, and Patrick (Angela). Proud grandfather of Matthew (Amber), Robert, Benjamin, Stephen, Kristie, Kyle (Jenna), Lauren, Erin, James, and Mercedes. Great-grandfather of Kylie, Madison, Keagan, Elliana, Mateo, and Camila. Also loved by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Marguerite and siblings James Mitchell and Donna Jean Grosenick.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor for their loving care.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM with service to follow at 10:30 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park – Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
