"John" Found peace on May 25, 2009, at age 61, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Chris (nee Zietlow). Cherished father of Jason Powell and Jill (Robert) Wrocklage. Proud and loving grandpa of Owen Wrocklage. Brother of Michael (Linda) Powell. Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Elizabeth Powell. Further survived by other relatives and many dear friends. The family wishes to thank Wheaton Franciscan Cancer Care and Home Hospice for the kind and compassionate care provided. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated in John's name to the above. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 3, at 4-6:45PM. Vigil Service at 7PM. Funeral Mass at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin, on Thursday at 11AM. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park to follow.
