Rochelle Kemnitz (nee Redlinger) “Rocky” Died peacefully surrounded by her family on October 18, 2021 at age 85. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 55 years, Bernard Kemnitz. To Rocky’s family,
You don’t know me but your mom worked for me for elections in Greendale. I am so sorry to see that she has passed away.
Rocky was an integral part of my team at Highland View Elementary. I was the election chief and she was one of my “little election ladies” who worked all the elections. She could always be counted on to do a good job in any task that she was assigned to. Her smile and positive attitude helped to pass the long hours on slow election days.
She was missed when she would be traveling during an election. I would always tease her when she would tell me that she was going to be traveling with her family. I would ask if her son could postpone the trip until Wednesday, the day after the election, lol. I know that she so enjoyed those trips. She told me that “whenever they ask me to go, I go!”
We will truly miss Rocky.
